START WITH OUR HOW TO USE A CROQUIS VIDEO!
Our How To Use A Croquis video walks through what this design tool does, and how to use it as you play with ideas for your hand-sewn wardrobe. Use printable body forms to sketch out ideas, consider color-block options, add or subtract design details, and lay out an entire seasonal wardrobe--without needing to commit to cutting a single garment before you're ready. This video includes TWO printable body pages that can be used over and over!
THEN LEARN TO WORK WITH EASE AND PLAY WITH VOLUME!
EASE is the amount of space in a garment between the body and the fabric. Some of it is essential, just so we can move in our clothes, but some of it is AESTHETIC, and can vary depending on how YOU want your clothes to fit. Follow our How To Work With Ease video to learn how to use the numbers on the pattern envelope and your own pattern alteration skills to make changes to the fit & flow of a garment.
